A busy week and weekend of dry hires, sales and shows /speech days ended with a bit o r'n'r in the good company of Nottingham rock covers band Rockstar who played a blinder of a North Wales debut at Colwyn Bay FC on Saturday night.
Tight, accomplished and good humoured the five piece quintet deserve to be getting far more gigs than is currently on their date sheet. Check out http://www.rockstar.uk.com/
The show was one of a number of events being promoted in the Bay by Sphincter Promotions who are doing a great job in bringing quality live bands to this sleepey musical backwater.
Young band Kick Start Kitty (featuring former members of the band Bite) showed up well and will be one of the names to watch out for on the North Wales live music scene in the forthcoming months.
